It was well priced, installed on time without issues, is still in place and functioning with no problems. That set the tone of my relationship with Royalite which has not changed in the years since. Naturally, I buy my small, 2’x2′ or 2’x4, fixed or operable units from Royalite. Always reliable, glazed to spec, ready to pick up on a reasonable time frame. It’s when it comes to the speciality units that it makes a real difference to be working with a professional outfit that cares about product, reputation and I mean mine as well as theirs, and service. I have over the years, among many others, done a 12’x15′ glass roof for an award winning bathroom in Atherton, a 5’x40′ roof for a hallway in the same house and most recently a 12’x12′ pyramid skylight over an entryway in Hillsborough. All of these were design problems needing a solution by a team who know what the loads are, the strength of materials, have an understanding of the need for visual lightness, etc. When it gets right down to it, there isn’t anyone but Royalite for this sort of work. It’s a waste of time to shop around.
